Another great time spent at Loiseau du temps. The meal was delicious. Just a little air conditioning would be nice in this hot weather.

The dishes were disappointing, like the profiterole (which was supposed to be a "revisited" dish) – it was cream instead of vanilla ice cream – the chocolate sauce wasn't great, and there was only one cream puff, which was slightly larger than average.

During an impromptu visit to Besançon and its beautiful city center, despite significant construction, we stumbled upon this place. We were so glad we went in and discovered excellent cuisine in a lovely setting with impeccable service. The daily set menu, determined in advance, is a brilliant idea and very reasonably priced. The selection of wines by the glass is exemplary. Thank you.

Following our Mother's Day meal today, we are very disappointed with the quality of the food we ate. Indeed, the asparagus with Bleu de Gex cheese and the rather bland deviled eggs were disappointing. The chicken blanquette, with its overcooked breast meat, and the homemade fries cooked in beef fat (I think) were certainly not the best we've ever had. As for the strawberry tart... It was too cold, the pistachios were soggy, and the strawberries were tasteless, in no way reflecting a freshly made dessert. Particular attention should be paid throughout the meal so that customers don't constantly have to ask for water or bread. It also seems important to me that customers have a clean table at dessert time to end on a good note. (Vs. breadcrumbs and sauce.) I think that, given the price of the menu and the restaurant's reputation, everything should be impeccable. Despite the negative reviews, we decided to try it out, but we won't be going back. We've eaten at much more reasonable prices, and the dishes were significantly better in terms of quality and flavor.

This restaurant is truly top-notch, from the welcome and service to the incredibly delicious food. The green sauce with tagliatelle was a real culinary orgasm. Go book a table at this restaurant.

Disappointed. I'm only giving 3 stars even though the food was good. There were six of us. Everyone else was satisfied except me, and I ordered the scallops for €29 as a main course. I have to say I was really disappointed. It was presented in a scallop shell on a white plate with three scallops inside, and that was it. No other presentation whatsoever; the plate was completely devoid of color, with just a small purée on the side. I was so surprised that I didn't think to take any pictures. For the price, I have to say it was very basic compared to the other dishes. Then, I ordered jasmine tea with my dessert because the menu said "jasmine tea with fresh leaves." To me, that means tea served in a teapot with loose-leaf tea. But no! I was brought a simple tea bag. Very disappointing for such an establishment. I was left feeling very unsatisfied. Disappointed.

Excellent restaurant! A small but varied menu with superb execution from amuse-bouche to dessert. A fine wine list featuring selections from all regions, including some excellent Burgundies.

Perhaps we didn't choose the best dishes; the terrine was too salty, the poultry bland! 😞 The excellent desserts were a consolation.

A very good experience. Delicious food. The staff is really very pleasant. The only slight drawback was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was rather cold (the door was open to the outside), which made the meal less enjoyable and we didn't get to enjoy it as much. A shame… but we will still gladly return when it's warmer…
