Ideal location by the river, very good beer but bland flammekueche, service a bit disorganized, but with a smile. A good spot for a drink on the terrace

The meal was very mediocre. There were three of us, and the salad was lukewarm, served in a small bowl with lots of greens and three filo pastries, each with a tiny piece of Munster cheese in the middle. The flammekueche was served cold. The non-alcoholic cocktails were very good. The outdoor tables were too close together; you could hear everyone's conversations. It was just too crowded. Very disappointed 😞

L'Alsacien de Besançon is a bar/restaurant located near the Vauban bridge, along the Doubs river. This bar offers cocktails, canapés, sodas, and all kinds of hot and alcoholic drinks. Around noon, you can reserve a table to enjoy a delicious lunch.

We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table. When we ordered, they explained that the tarte flambée would be served one after the other. That was fine with us. The service was very quick and friendly, and the tarte flambée was delicious. Our white wine could have been colder, and the outdoor seating could use more shade, as otherwise you're still sitting in the blazing sun even in the evening.

The tarte flambée was excellent, the service was decent, although a bit slow when you're in a group (15 people). It's a shame the waitress was so unfriendly. However, the quality of the food made up for it.
