A "plate of trout" for €25, the Mont d'Or cheese is the same for 2 as for 5. An unfriendly waitress. A bill far too expensive for the quality of the service and the food, avoid at all costs!!

A fantastic place that's well worth a visit when you're in Besançon. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner is a true enthusiast. With a background in cheesemaking, he knows his products and wine inside and out. Special mention goes to the lovely wine cellar, which allows you to carefully select your bottle.

A warm welcome awaits you, featuring locally sourced products, some even from very local producers. The atmosphere is vintage and stylish. Don't hesitate to go downstairs and choose your wine; you'll discover some real gems.

A small restaurant full of surprises. From the wine cellar where you choose your bottle to the truly extraordinary cheese in the fondue.

We're treated like cash cows at this restaurant. The fondue is incredibly runny and disgusting. The owner has a ready-made excuse for every customer: "I don't use cornstarch." Even a novice cook could do better. And the waiter, who makes us think he's offering us complimentary after-dinner drinks, ends up charging us for them at the end. The worst value for money I've ever experienced; avoid at all costs.

After being disappointed by La Grange restaurant, we were looking for another place to eat cheese specialties. This will be our first and last time at this restaurant.

The place is welcoming and the setting is pleasant. However, the experience was quite disappointing in terms of service and food. We ordered at 9 pm and had to wait almost two hours to be served, which is far too long. Once the dishes arrived, the potatoes were cold and the Montbéliard sausage was served in a very small portion—avoid it if that's what you're looking for. On the plus side, though, was the gesture of offering complimentary digestifs, which was appreciated. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the organization and the quality of the food need improvement.

A very bad experience. The service was slow and unprofessional; we clearly felt like we were bothering them. The food was a huge disappointment: cold, tasteless dishes, nothing was up to standard. Given the prices, one expects something far better. The value for money was disastrous. I do not recommend it.

There were perhaps forty of us (I didn't count) in the downstairs room, even though we'd been told it would be just for us. It was impossible to get up from the table without disturbing twenty people. And when the tragedy that happened at Crash Mantana happened, I thought to myself that if there had been the slightest spark, we would have ended up the same way. The meal itself was fine.

Arriving at 8:00 PM, a table of five was seated shortly after our group of eight adults. This group had the privilege of ordering and enjoying their aperitif before being moved by the waiter to make room for a larger group. So there we were, relegated behind another group of about a dozen people. With some difficulty, we finally received our aperitif and had to insist quite a bit to get our order taken (fondue, nothing complicated for a restaurant whose specialty is supposed to be fondue). Meanwhile, the group seated after us had already received their aperitif and even their main courses, while our orders had only just been taken. We followed up at 9:00 PM: according to the waiter, "it's on its way, it will arrive in a few minutes." We followed up again at 9:30 PM. I then informed the waiter that at 9:45 p.m., we would have been waiting an hour and forty-five minutes at our table, with no consideration, apology, or explanation, and that we would be leaving after that time. He replied, with a broad smile, that "the food is coming out." True to his word, at 9:45 p.m., no one in our group had yet been served, while the group that arrived after us had already finished their meal. My partner and I got up, said goodbye to our tablemates, and explained that, given the late hour, we were going to try to find an open snack bar so we could get something to eat that evening. As we headed towards the exit, we ran into the same waiter, laughing loudly with another table that was clearly made up of his acquaintances. I told him we were leaving, as agreed, and asked him to cancel our order, which still hadn't been served. His only response: "Are you serious?" I told him I had left my contact information for the rest of the table and that he could send me the bill for the two lemonades, the cola, and the beer when he had time. I then went to the reception desk hoping to find a manager, but no one was there. In the end, the rest of the table received their meals at 10:15 p.m., after a wait of over two hours and fifteen minutes. The wine we ordered never arrived, nor did the bread we requested. Even worse, our drinks and the two fondues that were never served were added to the bill of our friends who stayed at the table, without any itemized bill being presented to them before payment. No explanation, no apology, no justification. Endless wait, total disorganization, complete lack of consideration for our table. Incomprehensible service management and a profound lack of respect for customers.

A truly wonderful cheese and gourmet experience, with a fantastic team! It definitely makes you want to come back! Thank you so much! P.S.: And we promise next time we'll come without Juliette!

The fondue was very runny (even though they added more cheese after we pointed it out) and hard to digest, giving us stomach aches all night. A young waiter (the one tattooed from head to toe) was very self-assured and tried to befriend us, only to charge us €18 a glass of Chartreuse after promising to offer us a complimentary digestif to compensate for the poor fondue (a digestif we ultimately had to beg for at the bar). The owner accepted everything and refused to acknowledge his mistake. We felt completely ripped off (€78 per person) and certainly won't be returning anytime soon.
