Focaccia NOVETTINO - Besançon

A new discovery for me, I appreciated the simplicity, freshness, the friendly staff...the rather pleasant place, exposed stone walls 👌

I've been here several times and I always have the same thought: the focaccia is so dry it makes my jaw hurt by the end! The products are very good, but they need to fix the focaccia—use more oil during preparation or something else—because whether you take it away or eat it in, it's hard to chew. I thought maybe it was just me, but I had several people try it and they all had the same comment, which is a real shame because it's very good.

An interesting concept, and the apparent freshness of the products seems to justify the somewhat high prices. Furthermore, it was very much appreciated to have been served quickly, despite the typical Saturday lunchtime rush.

Today, I visited Focaccia Novettino in Besançon, one of the franchise's 14 restaurants in France. After being pleasantly surprised by the quality of their delivery service, I felt compelled to try the restaurant in person. The establishment uses fresh products imported from Italy and offers homemade, artisanal recipes. The choice of high-quality ingredients truly makes a difference in the taste. The dishes I sampled were perfectly balanced, and this experience was a wonderful discovery. The value for money is excellent considering the quality of the products offered. The restaurant's style perfectly reflects the franchise's identity and allows for an immersive experience unique to Focaccia Novettino: modern, with a visually appealing artisanal touch. The terrace, located on a busy pedestrian street typical of Besançon, adds a real charm and makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially on sunny days. The service, while quick and efficient, perhaps lacked a touch of the warm Italian welcome that we so appreciate. Nevertheless, it remains an excellent find for a franchise that clearly strives to offer genuine quality. My first order and what a wonderful discovery! The focaccia were excellent, very flavorful, with truly well-crafted tastes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the recipes.

This place has quickly become one of my favorites in Besançon! Fast service, delicious focaccia. The selection is varied and everything looks tempting; I'll be back as soon as possible to try other flavors 😍

Absolutely nothing to complain about! It was our first time eating here and frankly, it was delicious. The team is wonderful, and the place is beautiful. We'll definitely be back!
